The Fin-Diemme Disc Conveyor is designed for use with water based adhesives coated on both sides. Due to the high risk of contamination from adhesive applied to the bottom of the panel it is necessary to convey the material using the smallest possible surface contact area. The discs are made of stainless steel and rotate in a water bath so they are constantly self-cleaning. Additional safety barriers can be incorporated to stop the start of disc rotation during removal of coated components along with sensors to detect that the part has reached the end of the conveyor. These conveyors can be purchased as stand alone devices or as part of a complete line.
