The Fin-Diemme Disc conveyor is designed for use with water based adhesives that have been coated double sided. Due to the high risk of contamination from adhesive applied to the bottom of the panel it is necessary to convey the material using the minimum possible surface contact area. The discs are made from stainless steel and rotate in a bath of water so that they are constantly self-cleaned. Additional safety barriers can be incorporated to stop starting the disc rotation during the removal of coated components along with sensors to detect the part has reached the end of the conveyor. These conveyors can be purchased as stand alone devices or as part of a complete line.
