The complete in-line padding systems consists of several handlign technologies. The material is loaded as coils into an unwind that drives the material whilst consumed using a dancer system to avoid tension in the material. The material is driven into a cutting blade to determine the pad length. A vaccum table then drives the cut pad forward to determine the distance between the pads to correspond with the formed tray design. A robot the picks up the pads using a vacuum head and places the pad into the trays. Adhesive is dosed into the trays whist the formed trays are indexed forward via a precision dosing system and feed tank.
