The IPS Compact In-Line Padding System is designed for the insertion of absorbant pads into food trays. The system is available in various configurations depending on the customers requirements and consist of a feeding system for the absorbant material, cut to length modules, vacuum belt to present the cut pads and a robot with vaccum head system to insert the pads into the trays. For the bonding of the pads theres are multiple heads in line that fire a precision dose of adhesive into the base of the trays as the index forward. The system can be placed inside various thermforming lines so that the pads are applied as part of the thermofroming process.
