Fin-Diemme provide a wide range of handling solutions to assist in the assembly of materials into the desired position for the production of sandwich elements. The shelf system is available in either a single or double shelf configuration depending on the customer requirements. As standard the two shelves move back and forth together however for specialist applications they can be driven separately. The shelves are motor driven with encoder positioning to allow the speed and position to be accurately controlled via the main line PLC.
The Shelf System is usually supplied together with a conveyor belt with a sensor to stop the coated panel in accurate and repeatable position. The shelf can be controlled by foot pedal or hand button combined with sequencing via the main PLC. When double sided applications are required a disc support system is used in conjunction with the belt to hold the material off the lower substrate until it's in position.
