The TG range of in line cutting presses is designed to incorporate the controlled unwinding of materials (such as foils, papers, plastics onto a coated panel), roller pressing to consolidate the bond and a fly and shear cutting blade mounted on a servo driven axis to cut the material whislt the line is running.
The unwind unit is motor driven to unwind whilst the panel is present, after cutting it then rewinds the material on the bobbin stopping the material in a position ready for the next panel. The unit uses two sets of nip rollers to maintain pressure on the material from the bobbin and the panel whilst the cutting takes place. Sensors measure the panel length to allow variable panel dimensions to be used in the same line, making the system flexible to produce various panel sizes and types.
