Hot-melt adhesive application system for the application of adhesive to the rims of PET food trays. The unit is integrated into a tray thermoforming line and cycles together with the normal movements lines. The unique bi directional coating system allows high cycle speeds to be achieved up to 30 cycles per minute. Multiple axes are controlled via virtual cam technology to optimize the coating movement.
