VC100 Tank melter has a high power capacity and instantaneous melt rate in a compact unit. The system can be used either with thermoplastic hotmelts or in conjunction with a dry air unit it can also be used for thermosetting hot melts such as Polyurethanes. The principle function of this unit is as a buffer between drum unloader systems feeding a secondary application device such as a roller coater or slot head. The unit can provide high output precision dosing of >3kg per minute whilst continuously removing the necessity for stoppages of the line due to drum changeovers.
